Malvern's Fireworks Hit the Seven Seas 14th October 2011

Arrrrrr me hearties! Jump aboard the pirate ship and head over to the Three Counties Showground for a Swashbuckling Fireworks Spectacular (Friday 4th November), this bonfire season.

Visitors can expect a pirate themed firework extravaganza with one of the largest displays in the county set to a dramatic soundtrack, including favourites from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

A giant skull and crossbones sculpture, specially commissioned for the Show, will kick off the display of over £8000 worth of fireworks masterminded by local firm, Dragonfire, of Hereford.

Whilst Captain Jack Sparrow won’t be there in person there will be plenty of pirate antics on offer, including a free Treasure Trail and pirate games with Wyvern FM. Look out for Blue Beard the buccaneer who’ll be keeping his beady eye out for the best dressed pirates!
 

Visitors can keep warm by an impressive bonfire, tuck into delicious hot refreshments and have a go on the fun fair. With both indoor and outdoor viewpoints the fireworks will be enjoyable whatever the November weather brings our way!

Said Isobel Coulter, Communications Officer for the Showground: “Traditionally fireworks season centres around Guy Fawkes, but here at the Showground we wanted to add an extra twist to our fireworks event. This year we’ve fully embraced the pirate theme with lots of pirate related fun before and during the display”
