Professional Development Placements

We host and run a number of Professional Development Placements (PDPs) for teachers at the Malvern Spring Gardening Show, the Three Counties Show and throughout the year.

Chris Beardshaw with group of childrenRun jointly by local education officers, and our own dedicated Education Officer, these one day workshops are designed to bring teaching staff and relevant experts together.

Aiming to inspire creative teaching methods and provide an opportunity to experience new learning environments, the PDPs also give teachers the ability to collect resources and ideas, as well as to discuss different approaches to education with colleagues and business professionals.

The PDP days are carefully structured and can be tailored to meet specific needs.

At the Malvern Spring Gardening Show we also work with the education officers from the Royal Horticultural Society.

The Three Counties Agricultural Society can provide small grants to help with funding towards supply cover and travel expenses.

Our PDP programme has proved to be extremely popular, so we suggest that you register your interest with our Education Officer for future events.
