Educational Resources

The Malvern Showground has many valuable permanent resources on site as well as those in place for our major shows. These include;

Environment Agency Pond - used for fishing, pond dipping and conservation

Learning Cabin - currently undergoing refurbishment, the cabin will provide a great “classroom” with up to date technology

Permanent Learning Garden - designed by and for children and adopted and maintained by students, this dynamic garden teaches important life skills as well as important environmental understanding. This is currently being developed and managed by Cultivations, a horticultural charity using horticulture and nature as therapy across all ages, in collaboration with Link Nurseries of Powick.

Education Resource Centre - containing a wealth of valuable resource material on related issues

National Collection of Perry Pear Trees - the most comprehensive collection of perry pear trees in the country, many of them rare, is conserved on the Showground.

Langdale Wood - a 100 acre woodland site of mixed forest and lake providing an opportunity for guided tours of woodland flora and fauna.
