Three Counties Show (TCS) Demographics

The Three Counties Show remains one of the most prestigious showcases for agriculture and the rural community. It’s a celebration of the very best of British farming, country living and rural life, set in the heart of the country, at the foot of the magnificent Malvern Hills.

With around 95k visitors attending over three days, it remains a unique way to reach a highly affluent and influential audience (73% ABC1’s).

Standard Classification for TCS v's UK Population

With a slightly more mature visitor profile, it is not surprising that the average show visitor has a household income which is significantly above the national average (£46500 TCS versus £31000 UK). After all, over 40’s account for 85% of the UK’s wealth. The result is a total show spend, excluding entrance, which is in excess of £5.2m.

UK Population v's TCS

With 24% of visitors involved in farming (21% Great Yorkshire Show) and 45% living in the country, the event remains at the heart of the rural community.

Of those visitors involved in farming and with purchasing responsibility, 74% had attended the show “to visit the agricultural trade stands”. A third of these went on to say that they had found a new supplier at the show that they would not otherwise have considered using.

For the majority of our visitors the Three Counties Show remains “a good day out” (72%) with a great deal of entertainment and fun. This is reflected in our wide geographical spread.
