
The more mature visitor profile, has a higher than average household income (£41500 SGS versus £31000 UK). This is reflected in the high average spend of £120 per visitor, resulting in a total show spend of around £10.8m. Three quarters of the visitors also planned to buy something in the future as a result of their visit.

With so much to see and do, 79% of visitors spent 5 hours or more at the show and the overall opinion of the show was either good or very good (87%). The main reason for their visit being "to get ideas/inspiration" and "for a day out".
With almost all the visitors considering visiting the show again (97%) the Malvern Spring Garden Show looks set to increase in influence and remains the favourite gardening show of many of our visitors.
