Three Counties Show 13 - 15 June 2008

With over 20 schools attending last year's event, the Three Counties Show is rapidly gaining popularity as a great way to reinforce many aspects of the school curriculum.

Not only are there a whole host of animals and events to see, there is also a dedicated education area, The Discovery Zone. In 2007 this area featured sessions by Setpoint on making land yachts and boats from recycled items, and workshops with a carbon footprint theme run by the Duckworth Trust and the National Non Food Crops Centre. Eastnor Pottery showed children how to make tractors and combine harvesters in clay and the Environment Agency introduced more than 700 children to the delights of fishing.
