An opportunity for novice and expert local gardeners to exhibit flowers and vegetables grown in their own gardens including a Junior section.
Local specialist plant nurseries are on hand offering a range of interesting and unusual plants together with advice on how to grow them to their best.
Bees & Honey
Visitors can sample the different varieties of honey, observe bees flying in controlled conditions, analyse pollen molecules and learn about bees and beekeeping.
The ideal place to talk to the experts about keeping these adorable animals and meet some of the beautiful breeds on display.
Visit our poultry marquee and find out about chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys. There are lots of expert keepers on hand to answer your questions. Please note this section is currently under review with regards to the recent Bird Flu outbreak.
Come and meet these unusual animals and watch as they compete in daily classes. Owners are on hand to teach you all about Alpacas, discover what their fleeces are used for pick up hand made products.
These friendly animals are great for grazing small holdings and their fleece can be spun in to some magnificent garments. We have Angora, Pygmy, Dairy and Boer Goats on display and competing throughout the weekend, we're delighted to host the Angora Goat Society National Show. Judging for the different Goat categories will be completed on the following days:
Angora Goats - Friday and fleeces on Saturday
Pygmy Goats - Saturday
Dairy Goats - Saturday and Sunday
Boer Goats - Saturday
