Discover everything you want to know about farmers and their animals. Not sure what's happening in the rings in the Farming Village or ever wondered what a farmer gets up to all day, then this is the place to ask those questions. Supermodel's of the sheep world take to the ‘wool walk’ in a Fashion Show, celebrating the story of wool, alongside hands on spinning, felting and knitting displays for visitors.
Sheep Shearing Competitions
Cheer on your favourite shearer in the action fast paced sheep shearing competitions. Shearers from all over the country showcase their amazing speed and skill.
The Young Farmers are running humorous competitions guaranteed to put a smile on your face, including ATV quad bike skills and the highly competitive tug of war is held Sunday.
In the Farming Village we are delighted to be hosting national shows for the Simmental, Blonde, Murray Grey and Gloucester cattle Societies and the Beltex and Wiltshire Horn sheep societies as well as being the feature show for the Midland and Southern Highland Cattle Club
