DOGTASTIC, the fun-filled family day devoted to the nation’s favourite four-legged friends, returns to Three Counties Showground for a second year on Sunday, June 13, and promises to be the paw-fect day out for dogs (and their families!).

New to this year’s event is the open-air K9 Club Theatre. Visitors will be able enjoy a variety of talks and demonstrations throughout the day provided by a specialist pack of canine experts who will cover everything you need to know about your four-legged friends.

Ticket holders can watch exciting displays in the Ruff and Tumble Arena including thrilling flyball, gun dog scurries and highly entertaining agility competitions. Visitors can also join the Dog School where The Pink Welly Trick Team, will demonstrate and teach some pawsome dog tricks and canine obedience, there will also be the opportunity to take part in the popular Have-a-Go agility classes and even show beloved pets in the Just-for-Fun Dog Shows.

The event takes place between 10am and 5pm, both dogs and under 12s go free.

Commenting Head of Shows Diana Walton said “We are excited to bring back DOGTASTIC for a second year. The last year has seen a huge growth in dog ownership and this is just the event for dog lovers and owners alike! Following the success of 2020’s event there is even more for visitors to see and do this year, with added features such as the exciting K9 Club Theatre. After a tough year for so many people and we hope DOGTASTIC will bring a much-needed fun day out for everyone.”

DOGTASTIC is an entirely outdoor event spread across the vast 90-acre Three Counties Showground. Visitors will have plenty of space to roam around, with capped visitor numbers to ensure social distancing. This year, visitors to DOGTASTIC can camp at the Three Counties Campsite which is on site at the Showground. A camping stay is available to book as an add-on when booking tickets to the event.

“We are applying all that we learned from 2020 to ensure we continue to be Covid-secure at all our events.” says Diana. “With improved facilities and features spaced out across the site, including the exciting addition of camping this year, we hope our visitors will feel confident visiting us this summer.”

Tickets are limited with adults (16+) costing £9.00 in advance, 12–15-year-olds £4.50, whilst under 12s and dogs go free. Visitors can book now by visiting: https://www.threecounties.co.uk/buy-tickets.
