Knight Frank, the UK’s leading independent property company, has signed to be Headline Partner at the Three Counties Farming Conference to be held 15 November at the Three Counties Showground.

Growing in popularity year on year, the Three Counties Farming Conference attracts over 450 delegates and hosts a lively, topical debate focusing on current issues in the agriculture industry.  This year’s  discussion centres around ‘Post Brexit Opportunities - Planning Ahead for the future of Food and Farming’ and the highly distinguished panel of speakers include Minette Batters, newly elected President of the National Farmers Union,  David Drew MP, Shadow Minister for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and Neil Parish MP, Chair of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (EFRA) Select Committee.  Adam Henson, local farmer and BBC Countryfile presenter will once again offer his expertise in chairing the evening conference.

Speaking of the partnership, Ken Nottage, Chief Executive of Three Counties said “We are thrilled Knight Frank have decided to headline our annual Farming Conference and thank them very much for their support. The event has become a key diary date for leading agriculturalists and with the high profile panel of speakers lined up for this year it promises to be an interesting, informative and thoroughly enjoyable event.”

As well as the popular evening conference, talks run throughout the afternoon and delegates can hear from top UK organisations on rural affairs as well as listen to Nuffield Scholars discussing their recent papers.  Around 25 trade strands exhibit at the event with staff on hand to give support, provide business advice and offer networking opportunities.

Will Kerton, Partner at Knight Frank adds “We have been involved with sponsorship at Royal Three Counties Show since 2014 so are very happy to now be sponsoring the Three Counties Farming Conference.  It’s a great opportunity for us to promote our property services to a target market.  We are looking forward to the afternoon workshops where Ross Murray, former CLA President and now the Chairman of Knight Frank’s Rural Asset Management Division will speak.  That’s not to mention the spirited evening discussion about post-Brexit opportunities which will hopefully highlight some potential areas for growth in the agricultural industry.”

Tickets are now on sale priced at £20 (adults) and £10 (students) for advance purchase. Afternoon workshops start at 2pm and the evening conference at 6.30pm and this is preceded by a hot, hearty buffet.
